what mods to brighten up the interior?

Anyone have suggestions for interior mods?

I'd like a SeatSport spherical gear knob (if anyone has one for sale before I go to Seat, let me know!) and am contemplating an alloy foot rest, but wondering what else I can do?

I'd like some sill protectors but can't find any for the Mk1.....

Not tempted by vent covers btw.

And red footwell led lights

Strange I cant seem to find any of the genuine stainless ones I have, there were loads when I bought them like a year ago.

That carbon wrapping looks good! My door mirrors are carbon wrapped. Subtle but nice!

Looks smart mate. Which wrap did you use? How easy is it to do all the bits you did? Looking to do this to mine. The dull grey colour is boring

I used 3M I think but il check!
Top of my dash , boost gauge, and A and B pillars are getting re trimmed in cream leather on the 7th oct too to match the seats and door cards. Plus a new steering wheel retrimmed too but won't be black or a Leon one....

I've been looking on ebay and there's like 2m 3m and 4m just wondered what's best. Only wrapped my rear lights with film never done anything small and fiddley. Looks difficult but well worth it

I used a hair dryer to warm mine up a bit when I did it. Makes it go on a bit smoother!

So did you use 3m? What's the difference between it all. How easy is it to remove the panels?

Panels are easy enough to take out mostly clip out mate. I did use 3m bud. Think it's just the thickness between them.
Any probs taking them out let me know And il help you!
