spray that lub like crazy all over the thread is my advice as my fk's have allready oxidised alluminium rings to the shaft and we had to strip all shocks off as a 5foot scaffold tube wont budge them. so the moral of the story is lub the shaft withthe recommended spray asap!

is this only when changing the hight? or just do it anyway? and how often?

I know it is for the suspension as it has FK wrote on it in a purple colour'd can with a little pic of coilovers on

Do it before installation, then give em a coating after. Ive heard of people using lizard skins to cover the threads on road cars.

Took the best part of 40hrs work to get my h&rs to this condition after being on my car for 3 years.

yeah that thread spray they supplied is basically lubrication spray for future maintence. you wont be able to adjust the ride height unless the spray is applied at installation stage but it also protect them from corrosion. if i was you i'd clean the threads the best you can an apply the spray regardless weather you plan to adjust in the future or not. you'll need to take the wheels off but you should be able carry out a descent enough job with them attached to the car.

will do tonight, i hope they have been sprayed on installation, will give them a good clean later and lube them up good a proper, will also test whether they still adjust or not, should do, they were fitted by awesome so they would have done a good job, their good guys

Hhmmm Maybe this could be the cause then, ive been looking at suspension since i bought the car to replace what i thought was a poor kit, if they are worn it only gives me more of an excuse to change them.

I think the shocks have done about 30k ??????????

more like 3 - 3 1/2 yrs & 40k-45k ;)
