What is the best CT Ratio for the pistons to be used
And is it possible to use 83mm pistons in the engine without any machine work ??

im about to upgrade my engine and the hp i wanna get is 350+
i'm not sure if the OEM engine internals can handle this much power
so i have to chnage everything inside

i have been browsing and reading n got some good internals

my OEM sizes are
9.5:1 with 81mm pistons
i was thing to to go with 9.5:1 and 83mm

so i was wondering if i need to do any machine work to my pistons block or it's just gonna fit smooth

besides i've seen some pistons with 8.5:1 CT, r they better for kinda HP i need

plz advice cuz i'm lost really

Looking for that kind of power will require lcr compression ratio of 9.0:1 for sure stock AUQ compression ration would probably be a bit high for the figures you are chasing. Are you going big turbo or hybrid K04 ?

I'm assuming you've got access to nice high octane fuel ? You should have anyway

well i'm thinking of GT30 but if K04 would do it the i would go for it

I would say that running lots of boost usually means lower your compression ratio. 95 is standard unleaded here, most people use 99 on a modified car.
