All of you who know what my car looks like side on. as i have made few changes to the back and rear what other type of wheels would suit my car? Pics please.

is money no option?

porsche splits?
BBS RS001
RM's
RH1s splits
banded steels
porsche 928
Borbet A/B
TT comps polished
teledials
S3 wheels

list is endless, i could go on all night.
I think u need to sort ur front end out a bit, if u dont - u have to have chrome/polished wheels, simple.

Well david this was aimed at you and jenk as you seem to know a **** load about wheels. If you look in my post i said i have changed the front end i.e.mk3 golf grill cut up to fit colour coded and also a shortened front number plate (rectangle) no stupid backing plate

I also said that i cant afford the Rms in my link because they go for stupid money like £800,

Im thinking more £500 for a decent set or even a cheaper set to refurb, am split between 15's and 16's. as i will be slamming it on coilovers

the 'scene' is for sheep.. do y'own thing.. as long as YOU like it, then thats what counts :) cant see the logic in paying way over the odds for a part or a set of rims just because they have a certain Kudos..

Brummy: kudos? u been playing project gotham racing?

Will, yeah i know what u mean, i'd say most of my wheels would come under the £500 barrier.
S3/teledials/928s etc u need to remember to add in the price of adaptors.

But to look good, u may need to save up a little longer, worth it in the long run.

Why not try some Ronal LS?

or some azev A's which look sweet on the ibiza

Or if you can get the adaptors these keskins are not only cheap but would look awesome!

Though I think if I was ever to go down the euro route I would go for Borbet A's, don't look at it like its been done before, but more like its been tried and tested!
Just look at them.....if only I wasnt a student.....

Telford ay it...
Wheels!!

My old mk2's getting closer to wearing its teledials, jay just needs to decide on a colour and get some adaptors made up. He wants to hurry with those adaptors so I can start looking for my new wheels

Im a big fan of wide 1 piece wheels at the moment, Merc amg style etc. with them painted in a colour to compliment the body work colour........no polishing = less maintanance and all year usage ;) A light grey colour would look good against that green

I was going to get some 7.5x16" and 9x16" Keskin KT4's but was advised against it.

Apparently the quality of them is shoddy.

They're cheap for a reason, and aren't genuine splits.

I like DZ Exclusives, my fave wheel and in an ideal world they'd eb mine. But cost ££££

Jenk l long time no see, see i do like th merc amg style just cant get adapters or i would have those in a second.

But after seeing those borbets they look good polished and so do the 928's i just cant make up my mind. not a fan of the azev A's not dished enough, those keskins look good heard bad reports on the quality though. S3 wheels not doing anything for me. Ronals are like a cheap bbs and dont split

Jenk yes polished or a light grey would be the route ad go down like the Rm's in my link

Oh roelich yes i have been looking into the DZ exclusive wheels and they dont seem that bad priced?

So much options

Main reason I didnt go for the polished type is the cleaning aspect.. they are a mare.. then as said, theres the 'scene-tax' on them which is bleddy rediculous, and then theres the 'sheep aspect'.. i donr really want any of my cars looking the exact same as others.. i'll pinch ideas from one and use it, but there will always be 'my' stamp on there, spose its cos I grew up loving the big old Yank Rod's and they're all different..

The DZ's cost more money than I've got anyway! I got priced £935 for 7.5x16 front and 9x16 rear. No tyres.

Not badly priced in a world of Schmidt splits I guess!

You being serious i got quoted 650 i think without tyres aswell though

Brummy i have a polished face on the spokes on my present wheels they are a nightmare starting to corrode woith all the salt, get them powdercoated soon light grey, polished ones when and if i get them would be for summer, still havent made up my mind yet. Just getting other ppls opinions

i got some 'Rils to go on mine for the summer, (onces its dropped a bit anyway ) seen them in polished and seen how they have to be looked after or what happens to them...
mine have been powder coated in white so think they should fit in fairly well with the green colour of the car *and ive noticed a few polished sets coming up for sale on various Dub forums for 'scene 'Ish prices lately, so looks like i got mine for a tidy sum *

quick piccy of a bare rim on my car ;) hopefully should look a tad better his spring/summer than it did last...;)
