Suffered lift off oversteer with surprising ease on the way home tonight, it was possibly not surprising coming off a roundabout and lifting off to avoid catching a car in front but the angle it reached was interesting.

A bit of opposite lock (and a lot of ESP) tidied things up and there was no tank slapper, no chance the under steering mk3 Ibiza we had before would have behaved the same way.

I've never had oversteer in my fr, I have however had understeer, but that was when I first got the car and was a bit hasty with the throttle off of a roundabout

They don't quote actual figures but they imply more power and better economy, but then they would wouldn't they!
I am interested as I'm running a 'TDI Tuning' tuning box which is just brilliant and I thought it might help. Guess I'm getting greedy now!

2015 Leon ST FR 184 DSG

While driving it this morning, I noticed the throttle is quicker. And my custom exhaust was a bit louder

That's good going for a cupra, is that a standard one or running a box/ remap?

Standard.

Mostly motorway at 70 or below going from Reading to Dudley. Dropped off recently to just under 40 mpg which I assume is the colder weather.

Yeah the cold weather reduces it more than I thought it would! Still I bet the cupra would be fun in summer!

Cupra is fun in the summer, I love mine to bits and do a 7.5 mile run to my nearest train station every day to get to work. I'm down to 26MPG at the moment, though that may have something to do with my heavy foot.
