I really like the red stripe above the exsausts i feel the cupra lacks a little bit of flare like that. Is that wraping, paint or a new defuser? Problem is if i put any red touches on my black cupra the misses will say im copying her kia ceed gt :( lol

Concerning to this Leon, I think it needs the side skirts definetely in order to balance the front bumper lip

Totally agree that it needs a few subtle touches to bring out its angry side! The rear has just been sprayed mate. Tell the misses that as the 280 is the alpha car then it's the ceed that's copying

Did you spray the whole rear defuser or just the top edge?

Got the full diffuser sprayed. Smoothed it down and got it all gloss black and then the red just above the exhausts.

Not 'today', but this week:
My third SEAT arrived, probably one of the last 65 plate Leons to be registered. It's a lease car, and a bit of a cost-cutting exercise for me - according to my man maths, the savings in fuel bills over my current Freetrack will cover the monthly lease payments. The Freetrack was averaging 28mpg over 17K miles a year.
It's a silver FR 150, diesel, and apart from the tech pack is bog standard right down to the 17" wheels. Compared to the Freetrack it's missing a few features, I wasn't expecting an umbrella holder, but only one power socket is a bit stingey and surely auto lights and auto wipers should be standard on a £20K+ car?
It's obviously still running in, but performance seems strong, and on my second journey I managed to get 66mpg over 35 miles in 'normal' mode (a forced 60mph cruise on the M40 and M25 due to volume of traffic). The worst I've seen is 36mpg, which still beats the best I'd get from the Freetrack.
With it being a lease car I can't do any major mods, but I'd like to get the usual features activated on VCDS (folding mirrors/rear lights/staging), I'm going to fit fan washer nozzles, and maybe plasti-dip the grill surround and the bit behind the number plate black. Getting the roof wrapped gloss black would be good, but not sure I can justify it when it's not really 'my' car.

Recently I've fixed the rattle behind the dials, tightened the drivers wiper blade so it doesn't smeer and upgraded my fog lights for the cornering fog lights :).
Add this to the fan washers, sounds proofing, matt black behind the front number plate and boot rattle fix and it's becoming a complete car.

I can't do anything about the slow sat nav and ipod connection, which really isn't to bad.

But I'll be looking at getting some better tyres when the time comes and having a couple of minor things checked come service time.

I was lucky enough...it wasn't completely flat and the garage is at the bottom of my street. £8 well spent. Sorry about you not being so fortunate!

Mounted the heated fan washer yesterday.
Picked it up from a scrapyard from a Passat -10 I think. It was a little smashed if I may say :=)
Payed £9 for a set (if I'm translating it to pounds..)
