While there I was told there was a recall on the LED Lights which they have completed. I was told there will be letters in the post to people with the same issue that my car had. Not sure what the recall was for but out only took a few minutes to sort.

Did they say what the recall was for? I've read that on pre-facelift models they put the wrong filter in the headlights or something so that dust builds up on the inside of them but I doubt they'd manage to do that on the facelifts too

The recall affects cars manufactured from 2017 onwards....and as said above it may affects led lighting ...but not just headlamps or main beam ...but in general for example the signal (still led) ...what they said to me as i got the recall letter so i called them to arrange it ...i have been told that in some occasions the led turn signal may not work or either of the led lights ...and they just need to do an update available know to resolve that possibility ....In other words it may happen it may not ...

Took it to the dealer for its new wheel. Fingers crossed they don't damage anything while doing so. Arnold Clark don't fill me with confidence.

Had my car back from paint correction and ceramic coating. A 2 stage cut & finish polish and wheel faces, windscreen, lights and paint coated with Nanolex Si3D

Looks nice, mate. I'm currently debating whether or not to get mine done properly with a winter protection package and then buy a bunch of stuff and keep it looking decent myself for as long as possible.

Looks really really good. Did they do the grill and fog light surrounds as well?

Pretty sure they did it, I don't think the wrap on the grill would affect it much but I plan on putting a proper black one from a Cupra in anyway

Hardwired a Garmin 66w dash cam. Mainly for the parking mode and speed camera alerts.

If you have full link activated Waze is really good for speed cameras, even mobile ones as other uses will report them when they're about

I hate how full link needs my phone plugged in yet I've got WiFi and a wireless charging pad. Tried it a few times and decided I might as well just have it on my phone if it's plugged in.

Yeah one of the main selling points of android auto is that it doesn't need a cable to work, but for some reason Seat don't let us do it

Android Auto and CarPlay both do it, but I believe BMW have the rights to the wireless CarPlay, or some sort of exclusivity and don't support Andorid auto

No exclusivity, just quicker to implement updates. Some aftermarket receivers now do it. Maybe it’ll be an MIB3 thing?

But going off of my friends MINI with it, it’s more problematic than mine with a cable for sure.

Just read up on the feature, and apparently it's on Audi this year. So maybe next gen unit in VW/SEAT?

Aren't BMW also planning on charging you a subscription fee for having carplay and what not? Doesn't seem right to me
