Finally got round to replacing the fuel filter,
3rd time lucky after getting 2 Mann filters which didn't fit went for what the car was running on which is UFI
Am I right I’m thinking it’s just a straight swap? Bolts off, filter out, new one in and bolt it back up?? Seen a few instructional videos on YouTube but it looks far too easy. Any priming and/or bleeding?

Well it wasn't quite today but this happened a few weeks ago. Luckily someone witnessed the lorry backing into my car then attempting to leave quickly. Glad to say I got it back today all fixed up

100% agree. Anyone who parks in public on a regular basis should invest in one for this very reason. This happened to me despite being parked in the more remote area of the car park. It's cheaper to invest in technology than to rely on the honesty of others

I think his car was parked. Not many record whilst parked up, mine certainly wouldn't :(

You can get dashcams that come on when they feel any contact to the car for not too much money tbh mate ~£50 mark.

Agreed. Very little people have integrity these days, appalling.

Get a Blackvue. Mine records if the car is parked up and impacted. Costs a few pennies more but worth it for piece of mind... and it’s a stealthy looking thing too.

It’s actually moved into the black marked area now and can’t really be seen from outside the car as I’ve got it set to record without showing a flashing light on it.

Mine has a parking mode. But I don't dare leave it in whilst parked incase someone smashes my window to get it. Case in point, this is front 10am this morning:

Would really appreciate some more details on this. Is it easy to install? Where does recording gets saved etc?

Have a look here at the one I currently have fitted

https://www.blackvue.com/dr590-1ch/

I’m looking to upgrade to a better model with rear cam as well and will be re fitting this one to my wife’s car.

First day of the North Coast 500 and I tell you what everyone must do it. It's absolutely stunning. Applecross pass is phenomenal and the roads are insane. Not the type to drive at speed. It has to be on everyone's bucket list :)

I've driven the Bealach (Applecross Pass) once or twice, it's not that insane once you get to know it

It is a straight swap. Just have to top it up with some diesel as the new filter will soak some in
