Yeah all I used on my Golf R was wire wool. Worked a treatAutosol and fine wire wool works well.
Gets rid of any sooty deposits on my exhausts.
I agree with the Autosol, although I hadn't used it with wirewool so will try that. This stuff is bril for it.Gave the cupra a wash before the return to work. Also tried out some of the 3M stainless steel cleaner on the exhaust (in the dark of course). Seemed to make them a little better but there’s still a fair bit of work to make the tips look as good as new. Does anyone have any recommendations for ways to remove the general deposits ,carbon etc) from the exhaust tips?

Just ordered a Rieger front splitter for my Cupra 300.
Yeah after seeing yours and a few others. Only one winner isn’t there!! I know I went on about it being a lot more expensive than the competition but looks absolutely mint!It will look the Bees Knees lol

And I liked it that much I went and got one for my Carbon hahaha! Not quite today, but had a resonator delete on my R (thanks to VAGManchester)
May not be to everyone's liking however.
Fairly easy to fit then? You’ll need a 3mm drill and a screwdriver. @Deano j1971 and myself also used some silicon sealant as well. I can’t remember it’s proper name but Deano j1971 will know.

Sound! Piece of piss then!!If you can get the front end off the ground - Yes. On the splitter there are 22 holes already drilled into it. If you hold the splitter up to the car you will see 4 of these line up with self tapping screws already in place. Remove these and then offer up the splitter and reinsert the 4 you took out. You now have 18 holes to drill into the car body through the holes in the splitter. Add the remaining self tappers and bingo.

Yeah I’ll second what Maypack has said about installing the front splitter, took about half hour in total, so easy.... however if you invest in the Rieger rear diffuser then that my friend will take a good couple of hours, but the finished product looks the mutts nutts
