You can have a look here for example
https://www.etuners.gr/seat-leon-1-8-tsi-gen3-stage-3-is20-turbo-golf-7-gti-turbo/

Cost a lot...less than buying a Cupra but the Cupra guys wtfjh face...is well worth it
TBH would rather drive my stock cupra knowing nothing is going to blow up and have realibity and all year driving with comfort and under warranty.

Don’t want to try and make the car something it isn’t , but good luck to you and your obvious interest.

It's comical. I've just had an FR driver pull next to me at some lights (filter for turning right at the next set) then to cut me up and run the next red light to get past me. What is the mentality or what is trying to be proved against a car that's clearly more powerful/quicker??

All too common I'm afraid. Living in a big city it happens with depressing regularity, just so they can boast to their mates that they 'beat a Cupra's , omitting to point out that they overtook the other side of bollards, jumped traffic lights etc etc . I'm really not interested in 'racing' some spotty yoof in his POS mobile along busy urban streets with pedestrians etc etc. I save that for roads that are clear, relatively traffic free and , if I do run out of talent, the only victim is likely to be me. As some of you may be aware, 6 people were killed in Brum recently , the reasons for that tragedy are still unclear, but the focus from every angle is on 'hot hatches' and alleged road racing. I'm not going to jail coz some halfwit has a hard-on to race.

Sorry Cupra guys...its also quite a laugh when more or less stock Cupra driver tries to boss around us FR drivers and then you just floor it and driver in a Cupra is wtfjh...
Don't be sorry! If you have tuned your car to well above 300bhp then fair play. I'm sure it's loads of fun surprising other drivers!!! My point was aimed at a clearly slower stock car trying to prove something by driving like a complete ****! Same happened a lot when I had a Subaru impreza STI with standard WRX owners.

May I add I'm not trying to belittle FR drivers one bit!

totally agree with this. I love the FR (owned a 184 DSG) but as a Cupra owner I do get all sorts of idiots wanting to try it on, especially the wee chavs in Hondas. It's sometimes better to let them pass so I can hear their cherry bomb exhaust for a laugh.

On the other hand I also have an AMG45 and have folks in a Cupra/Golf R try it on, it's just the way of the world

Some car drivers are still silly enough to take on bikes, getting fewer though. The last one was a Megane RS, I sure he thought he had gone into reverse.

As far as what the Cupra and I did, the Cupra had a wee rest while I did an oil and filter change. Reasonably easy despite having to remove the front pan. Also, despite the local VW dealers dire warnings, the new sump plug sealed OK. The replaceable filter element took me back a few decades though. Very quaint.
I do need higher ramps though, getting too old for wriggling under cars.

So you dont want to make your car better?

Each on their own, i like what i drive, and it has nothing to do with luck.
I think its better than stock Cupra...looks better, drivers better, goes better.
I always look the way to upgrade things i have, home, cars...

I dont know what kind of Cupra drivers are in your country,
but you remind me a lot like typical Cupra drivers in here...
They think with their stock Cupra that its a somekind of super car,
then they go bossing around on the roads and its a good laugh when they start to push like cocky colts and you walk away from them in (their eyes crappy) an FR.
Just like typical beemer drivers...
"move away ****ers king of the road is here[B)]...oh ****...wait...mommy "
"...Well that tuned **** will blow up anytime now..."

And once again, i like Cupras alot, but its still just a Seat like the rest of them,
Id bought one for sure if the price difference would not be so rediculous compared to 180tsi or 184tdi.

For sure Cupra will give good value for the money when compared to A45 AMG or RS3 in here that costs as twice what Cupra is (Cupra starting at 39,900€ vs A45 71,500€ Va RS3 82,000€)
Tune up here and there for few xxxx€ and it can give the "oh **** moments" to peeps driving with those superhatches.

I've got every respect for any FR drivers or drivers of any other cars, but I don't when they risk there lives and others trying to prove there something when there not. But like someone said already sorry to say that's the fact of life.

And also I don't go out of my way to bully drivers because I've got a cupra the main reason I bought the Cupra was because it was Understated and not as flash as other hot hatchbacks.

If I wanted to be flash about it I would of bought a RS or Audi RS3.

And if you have spent thousands on upgrading yours fair play to you its your money and hobby.

But I'm more than happy with the performance of my Bog standard stock cupra and also swap after every 3yrs for a new one so upgrading the car does not appeal to me and also makes the warranty invalid .

To change the subject a little, I noticed I had a wheel centre cap missing. I know they are about 60/70 quid a set so was overjoyed when my dealer come out the workshop with one and handed it over with a smile.

Top work.

It's the little things that make the difference. I know not all dealerships realise that but it puts your faith back in the ones that do.

Drove from Liverpool to Cardiff today so I decided to hypermile it. Cruise control set between 55 and 60mph all the way and air conditioning off for 98% of the journey. Very happy with the result.
