what changing exhaust does to warranty

Quick question really...

My gf's brother runs his own exhaust company and he did me a rather spiffing full system on my 306 which he made all himself and it sounded ace.

Now, i'm thinking of doing something similar with my Leon, but was wondering what impact it would have on my warranty? Would it completely void it, or invalidate it for engine/exhaust related issues only or what?

I know many people on here have Miltek systems or whatever - what do they do to your warranties?

nulls your old exhaust warranty!! i dont think it can void any other parts.

Got told by my dealer "with the exhaust being a "consumable" only the old exhausts warranty will disapear" - as said by Brendy.

Go for it mate and change it - Dervs dont sound "too" bad with a performance exhaust on as well
