What a difference a couple of mods make

Funny enuf i said the same thing, after doing my Corsa i wanted a nice standard car and to keep it that way but NOOOOOOOOOOOO

My first mods were PiperX Viper Industion Kit and Forge 007P.

I then wanted remap but now thinking how better to spend that kinda money (and pay for a holiday at the same time)

Anyone show prices for dogbone cus work net acess is limited to say the least BLOCKED this BLOCKED that

Goes from the MAF (Back of the Airbox) to the intake side of the turbo

Bit tricky to fit the bottom end but a pretty good mod

Having never fitted one before without any help it took me about a hour and half to do. This was maybe longer because i was being very careful to make sure i got the pipes in the correct order and everything was tight.

Tips for fitting: 1). Use a socket set to tighten the clamps up much easier to get to the bottom one
2). Take the air box out give more room to work.

just fitted the Dog Bone mount too, can really tell the difference, a very solid feel to the acceleration. i thought there was something wrong the first time the vibration rumbled through the car but realised that it was all part of the deal.

Which of th dump valves are quiet. What i really dont want is to hear a big ptssshhh every time i change up?

Any recomendations and cost and where to get them from.

Dobber, get the Forge one 007, not very loud but louder than standard valve, piece of piss to fit 5 mins, Badger5 do them cheap inc deliver, take a look http://www.badger5.demon.co.uk/.

I've got the Forge 007p, it's no louder than the standard Bosch valve. I got mine from Badger Bill (IbizaCupra on here). He has his own secion here http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=138, very good service. I think I paid £87.50 all in.

i got the green panel filter in mine, but hey i still think it louder than the standard bosch IMO.

didnt have a box and i bet it been sittng on the shelf for ages.
Me being a saleman started to haggle, hit me at £77 then £67 walked out with it for £60, still think its was overpriced but what a great knob

Well i dont pick it up until 2 weeks. First impressions though are good. Pics up really well nice and quiet and not to harsh a ride. Compared to teh Teg it just doesnt really get there. The Teg is an awsome car and bred to race. Handling with the LSD and coilovers i had on was out of this world. Power of the teg is good too. It had good torque at low revs unlike the CTR i had. And it will pull all teh way up to 150.

In saying all that I cant wait to get the LCR. Really like the Turbo feel and i think im going to get it Chipped and ge a forge DV very soon
