What’s my Leon worth??

I know it’s an older car but other than the wheels (I have the original 16” multi spokes) it’s totally original and in really good condition for being 18 years old,
It has got a few bodywork issues (the usual red Leon issues)
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

2001 (Y)
Seat Leon cupra 1.8 20V T,
full mot, (Oct 19)
180 BHP

The engine is the AUQ 1.8 20VT and it purrrs like a kitten and runs faultlessly,

It has done just over 130k which again for an 18 year old car is nothing,

The car has almost full service history and a folder full of receipts and bills,

The car has wanted for nothing,

It pulls excellent through all 6 gears with great power delivery,

The interior is in excellent condition for the age of the car (a few small marks but very small nothing a full valet won’t sort)

There is only a few very small issues that detract from the car slightly and that is a few small bodywork issues, (see pictures)

1: lacquer peel (very common on red Leon’s) on the front of the roof and the door handles,

very easy fix but need to be honest,

2: a dent in the rear quarter just under the light cluster,

Again not to difficult to fix but need to be honest,

The rest of the bodywork is very good for the age of the car with only the odd mark and scratch but as you can see from the pictures it’s in lovely condition

Generally whats my car worth threads are frowned upon and thats on most car forums.

If you want to find out yourself look on autotrader / gumtree / ebay for cars around similar mileage and you should get a better idea.

:)

Seriously?

Put simply, any car is worth as little or as much as anyone is willing to pay for it.
Take a look back through the completed listings on Ebay and see what similar vehicles sold for, or just as significantly, what they didn't sell for.

Why would they be frowned upon?
Although it’s a bit of a hard question to answer accurately I would of thought this is the best place to ask it with the amount of knowledge and it’s all specific to the exact car.....

But never mind

It's not a problem to ask, it's just hard to say. I've seen them go for £1200 recently for a nice example, but then i've also paid £700 for one in equally good nick. The expensive insurance and high tax limits the market, plus the dent is gonna cost someone to fix........... If you want a quick sale £500. If you're in no rush, £900 and see what you get offered.

No worries buddy. If you find the right person who appreciates the fact it's been well looked after, then tthere's no reason why you can't get that. Good luck
