Wet drivers door sill, is it the dreaded door panel??

Yep follow the guide that Lee posted. Mine was sitting on the sills for a couple of weeks then all of a sudden there was a massive pool in the back passenger side. Did both front seals last week following the guide and the sills have been completely dry since. Going to do the back ones when we have some decent weather next.

I came on here because my rear passenger side door seal went over the weekend. Massive puddle in the footwell - it may have been building up a while underneath the mat to be fair as we've had heaps of rain over the last couple of weeks. At first I thought my daughter must have left the door or window open as it took about five towels to soak it up!

The front passenger has needed doing for a while but even so it's not as bad as the rear one. I knew there'd be a useful "how to..." guide on here so thanks!

Can anyone comment on the extra work involved when the carrier panels are riveted to the doors? I am tempted to have mine off to inspect, but am not exactly handy with a rivet gun!

Cheers

I don't believe they ever have been rivetted? The speakers are rivetted to the panel, as is the window regulator, but the panel itself is only screwed to the door. And if you don't remove the top two screws and just work with the bottom three quarters of the panel, you can keep everything in place and not worry about anything.

Later ones are riveted it been said, no idea whey they changed from the 10mm bolts.

Rivets on mine are on the window mechanism holding it to the carrier panel.
When you replace the window mechanism you get four bolts to do up, much easier.
