Weird Coolant Levels

Ive never really had to touch coolant system in any of my cars but is this normal?. I posted a question about coolant the other day because my light was flashing and bleeping and when i checked the level it was a fraction below the minimum so i added a drop to make it just above the min level. Last night i went to add some water now the level was slightly above the max?!? Im really confused im sure ive never seen this happen at all ever!

was it cold when you saw it was low and hot when you saw it high?

the level will rise when hot. (water expands when warm/hot as well as when frozen).

has the flashing stopped? this is a common fault, especially in the winter as cold water results in a lower level. also the sensor can play up.
i presume since you topped the level up you have not had the flashing light?

yea when i added a little drop into the bottle it hasnt flashed since. I never knew the levels could rise like that. and yes it was cold when it beeped and i just came back from a drive when i was going to top up

check the level when its next cold and if its between min and max alls well.
