Water in the boot spare wheel

Picked up the brand new car today and found water where the spare wheel would be.

Gutted!

Dried out and tried to find where it is coming from but no luck so far. All dry after spraying with water.

Check above thread about water leaks, I work for SEAT main dealer body shop and we've had a few where the laser weld at the back of roof has small pin holes in it and leaks water into compartment, I tried to post pic but can't at mo

Yes, but just as roof folds over, before need of sealer starts

I have a 2024 Cupra Formentor recently bought and found water in the same place. Any ideas?
