washer jets

just wondering if you can replace the standard washer jets on the mk1 leon with the new mist style 1's??? if any1 has done it a stupid modification that it maybe but personal choice comes into it i suppose but if any 1 has done it could they let me know wat jets they used?? i know it may be straight forward enought just trying to find the parts lol

i have done the mist type ones i used citreon ones cant remember which model but i think it was c3 but you will have to file them down as there are bigger .do a search i found a guide on here

Get down to peugeot or Citeon and order a pair of
6438.j2
they need sanding a little on the edges so they sit right but other than that go straight in.
they arent as long as the leon ones and there is a gap at the back, so what I did was to adjust them by moving forward and back, when they whre right I glued them.

The Seat ones are I had one of mine renewed under warranty & I gave up trying to alter the jets, they either spray the wiper arms when theyre positioned at the bottom of the screen or spray the car behind me, can never get an even balance

I would really like some suggestions of another manufacturer whose will fit without having to sand down, trim etc as stated previously

it takes seconds to rub it down. You only need less than 1mm off the edge.

what about the mk3 ibiza jets?? they were 'mist' type ones and i thought they were flippin brilliant... anyone tried it? stright swap?

less than £10, got them off e-bay, post 2003 206 I think.

i found it a nightmare to line them u as the move all the time but well worth the trouble all cars should come with them as u need less sprays to clean windscreen covers more of it aswell
