Here is a warning for all those attempting to change/upgrade either indicator or sidelight bulbs. Don't let the little clip that holds the triangular cover in place, fall out. 4 hours it took me - 4 hours. Could I see the clip in the tray? - NO. Could I feel it when I did my gynaecologist impersonation through the hole left after removing the fog-light? - NO. Did i rip my finger open on the extremely long and sharp self-tappers holding the tray in place? - YES. Did I get wet? - YES. Am I titsed off? - YES. Was the indicator bulb blown after all that? - NO it f#*king well wasn't. Just started to <bleep>ing well flash as I pulled it out the socket. :censored:
FYI driver's side - right in front of the fuel canister thingy. Pass me the plasters.

the burbs...
One of those lovely .. ..only take 5 minute jobs that then end up taking 5 hrs and costing a fortune.... Alfa romeos are famous for those. You end up looking like the mummy with enough bandages and plasters on your body to keep a NHS hospital in business for a year.

The good news though is folks - I did find the clip. Repeated bursts up and down the drive and slamming on the brakes finally brought it into reaching distance - through the fog-light cavity. After tying string to the clip :)idea:) I managed to put in into the locating holes, the cover - well I gave up. Only 9,750 miles to the first service - they can do it ! I'll say it fell out on it's own accord. The physical scar is beginning to heal, the mental scar will live me forever. Anyway, as my Son said, I know where I am going anyway - why indicate ?
