dont bother with a 130 hybrid, pointless. I'd only buy a new unit also. Loads of people have had issues with older units that have been changed. a 150 hybrid brand new from td is around the grand mark. oh for the stage two.

just a little side note. I'm running around 180ish bhp at the moment in my 130 fr,
I was fortunate to have a drive of a remapped and hybred turbo'd cupra tdi with around 230bhp (conservative estimate). and while in a straight line it was awesome, it pulled and torque steered like a bitch and the traction control light was on more than it was off.
coming off roundabouts I couldn't get the power down as early as i can in my FR but once it was straight it was amazing I loved it but I'm just not sure it was for me driving back home in my car along the same road it felt faster through the corners and off the roundabouts although i did miss the power on the straight bits :D

its the torque thats the issue. i never use my tcs. waste of time.

you just have to adapt your driving style, can't just plant it. feed it in.

basically. once the turbo is fitted it will need a map quite soon, however you can run it unmapped ass long as you dont thrash it. and a clutch is a must. Id just get a full sachs kit. depending on your mileage id get a flywheel too, as it will save on labour costs at a later date. arbs and other suspension mods can wait, they have no bearing. however brakes do. if you haven't then a 312 setup would be fine on a ibiza.

no need for uprated injectors, even with hybrid 150. a stock 150 mapped will obviously produce more bhp/lbft than a 130 mapped. however you'd be mad. the time and expense to do that is pointless. a hybrid 150 may not seem like it will produce much more power, however they can produce almost 100lbft more than a mapped stock 150 unit.

I know someone on here who had 193bhp 322ftlb out of a 130 ;) Im near enough that power now with a 130 turbo on my wee 110 non pd :D Also, it is pointless just putting on a standard pd150 turbo, as youve got the same bhp as most 150's make. Just go Stage 2 MD376 pd150 turbo otherwise you will regret it ;)

mate just get the Stage 2 MD376 pd150 turbo. the price difference is not much. oh and buy new not exchange.

im running one. 240bhp 385lbft @ p-torque . but thats just peak figures, through the revs hybrid 150s will destroy any 130/ 130 hybrid / standard 150 unit.

Cullompton . Devon
Set 2 - PD150
Stage 1 = MD374 = GT17 compressor wheel
Stage 2 = MD376 = GT20 compressor wheel

Stage 1 – MD374

Hi flow GT17 compressor wheel, cnc machined compressor housing, 360 degree thrust bearing, cut back turbine blades, lightening of turbine wheel for faster ‘spool up’, modified V.N.T. turbine housing, uprated turbine seals. Other ‘blueprinting’ modifications. APPROX 200 - 220 BHP

Stage 2 – MD376

Hi flow 2275 spec compressor wheel, cnc machined compressor housing, 360 degree thrust bearing, cut back turbine blades, lightening of turbine wheel for faster ‘spool up’, modified V.N.T. turbine housing, uprated turbine seals. Other ‘blueprinting’ modifications. APPROX 240-260 BHP

Never seen it quoted on the TD web site to buy, just give them a ring. CR turbos will do the exact same thing for less money i bet.
