Hi everyone,

I recently got a great deal on used VZ5 rims with factory 255/35/20 Eagle F1 tires. After doing a test fit, I noticed that when the wheel is turned fully to either side, there’s only about 2-3mm of clearance to the back plastic cover. Is this normal, or could it potentially cause any issues?

Before I had stock 245/40/19 tires and stock rims, and clearance is around 1cm or even more.

Thanks in advance for your input!

The offset is the same at 38-42 but the 19" alloys are 8" wide rims whilst the 20" alloys are 8.5" and with 10mm wider tyres you probably need spacers to give more clearance!

Thanks for the details. I should probably go with 245/35/20 then, right? I have installed H&R spacers 8mm front and 10mm back on the stock 19s, if needed, I could reuse these.
