Hi,

if I press the voice control button on steering it asks what I want it to do on screen but doesn’t actually pick up what I say. I am connected to apple car play and if I press and hold the button “siri” will ask me what I want to do so I can send what’s apps etc but I can’t control the cars say nav or ask it to change temp etc.

Any idea how I fix? Voice commands are turned on in settings.

thanks! Kate

Have you tried the wake word, 'Hola Hola' ?

If that is turned on in settings then the car should listen without pressing anything, although I've never really gotten it to obey reliably - usually end up arguing with it, giving up and doing it myself.

Hi!
Short press = Hola hola.
Long press = Hey Siri.

Hey people...
Got a similar problem myself:
I suddenly have only the option of Siri voice commands via CarPlay, while the ability to use the car's voice commands is totally gone! I tried single presses (as it used to be), double presses, even triple ones to no avail. I can only get Siri to activate via long press. Mind you, the car is to go in for firmware update in mid-June (earliest date possible!), but I cannot tell if that's the reason for the issue, as it used to work just fine.
And yes, it is activated in the settings menu.
Any suggestions would be hugely appreciated.
