Hi, I know that OBD11 has an App to enable VIM, but I don't like the Apps since they are essentially a black box and it is hard to reverse back to the original settings in case something goes wrong.

Does anyone know what needs to be done in order to enable VIM through Long Coding and Adaptations?

I've already tried changing the adaptations in the Multimedia 5F module:
1. Nhtsa properties - set not activated to all items
2. Locked menu contents - set non blocked to all items

After the changes I did the soft reset (holding the power button for 20 seconds)

But that did not work, the video still pauses as soon as the car starts moving.

Thanks!

It may be designed to only allow video playback while stationary as video in motion is illegal in some countries (it‘s illegal in the UK).
