Hi all, hoping someone can tell me what's happened here.

Car went in for replacement back box yesterday, when I picked the car up they said they'd had a pig of a job getting it fitted. Car felt fine going back home, then driving today with a passenger the rear has become incredibly bouncy. Pics of left and right rear springs, what on earth has happened to the right hand side?

It looks like the pipe cover has come down on both sides, that part protects the damper piston rod from road debris and should be held up at the top of the damper by the bump stops, so maybe both bump stops have sheared. Also the wet look will be oil escaping from a failed damper, maybe on both sides, RHS worse than LHS.
