Crackling/Error code for rear right bass speaker?

Hi, So I have recently come from a seat leon FR to a cupra. I had the exact same issue in my seat leon FR, it started crackling when bass kicked in and then it eventually stopped working completely. I picked up my cupra mid December scanned fault codes and it was all fine. Was driving to work yesterday and heard and crackle from the back so decided to investigate, same issue. Crackling once bass kicked in on the rear right but everything else is fine.. Scanned the car and seen something along the lines of "Rear right bass speaker - open circuit" so i'm wondering if anyone else had this issue and how they fixed it? https://youtube.com/shorts/0NBLbYHVZgI You can hear the noise here. First I record the right rear speaker, then it jumps to left all sounds good, then I go back to the right and it crackles again.. I'm tempted to just bring it back to the dealer but don't want it to be an easy fix.. Thanks in advance all, appreciate your help

Hi im getting this same error code on my 2019 seat leon fr, error code for rear left bass speaker circuit low, just wondering if you had found a fix to the issue or how you resolved this.

Crackling is usually sign of a blown speaker...when overdriven, the voice coil overheats, can go out of shape and then scrapes against the magnet, giving the crackling sound, or in some cases open circuit if it's properly FUBAR!

Or, as I found when I replaced the speakers in my Octavia, the actual speakers could be breaking up...the Octavia's speakers are made of plastic and when I removed them, although they all worked and sounded OK, they were all physically breaking up due to what I expect was temperature and humidity change over the years!

My guess is that simply replacing the speaker will cure the fault.
