I imagine that most of the issues are because you are using an interface that is not compatible (Hex V2 or Hex-Net required) with the controllers and/or software that is out of date. Do you have a genuine cable?

It is better not to ask for help with regards VCDS issues if you have not bothered to buy a legal version, come back when you have paid for a RossTech product.
