Hi guys,

small problem with my LCR,

I was driving yesterday and everything was fine, stopped for 5 mins and turned the engine off. when i turned it back on it took about 4 secs ticking over before it started, then the revs jumped to about 2000 and quickly dropped to about 1250 where it stayed, i also noticed there was some throttle hesitation i.e the revs would only rise at about 40% throttle which meant i had to rev hard to take off. after about 10 mins of driving the car was fine.
This seems to happen now whenever i stop the car and start it again soon after... car initially starts fine with no problems
Now after alot of searching i'm thinking a sensor or maf but from this description has anyone experienced similar? i havent really read anything about the throttle hesitation?
OR if anyone has VAG-com in the guildford area i would be MUCH appreciated.

Thanks for any possible help everyone!!

Also, when i start it and the revs are high i can leave it for 5-10 mins and the revs will drop - everything is fine.
no lights on the dash atall.
