Vag-Com faultcodes

Hi guys. Hope you can help me with this. I've got two faultcodes on my sweet machine. The car is a Ibiza -96 1,4l 8v.

The faultcodes:

00533 - Idle Speed Regulation
09-00 - Adaptation Limit Surpassed
01087 - Basic Setting Not Performed
35-00 - -

If i clear the codes the first one always comes back withing three seconds, the second one comes on randomly.

My biggest concern is the Idle speed regulation because the engine stalls when I lift my foot from the accellerator.

Please help me. What should I do? Got MOT in two days

* Air Leak between Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor and Engine
* Injector(s) faulty
* Fuel Pressure Regulator faulty
* Throttle Body faulty
* Intake Air Filter dirty


Possible Solutions

* Perform Throttle Body Adaptation
* Check Hoses and Pipes to/between Components
* Check Intake Air Filter
* Check Fuel Pressure Regulator
* Check Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve
* Check Injector(s)

Special Notes

* When found in Audi A6 (4F): Parking Brake, perform Function Test.
* When found in VW Passat (3C): Parking Brake, perform Function Test.
o If the Function Test does not clear the code, perform Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor (G251) Calibration.

So I cleaned the throttle house and the engine was running much smoother but I still cant get rid of:

00533 - Idle Speed Regulation
09-00 - Adaptation Limit Surpassed

Any suggestions?

hi mr-bear, did you ever find out what the prob was? because i have the same fault codes 00533. any help would be appreciated. thanks.

this is normally a nackerd TB, there is a way to test it but i cant rmember off hand. to basic set the TB you need to go into measure blocks on vagcom, group 98 i think for part electronic throttles, then switch to basic settings, the TB will adapt, take a few seconds, switch back to measure blocks, then exit
