Maybe something todo with the intake temp sensor being mounted in the plenum itself.

He didnt actually make them himself, he sourced the insulator and put the kits together which comprise of longer bolts and a couple of OE gaskets for either side of the insulator.
Assume thats what you mean Olly?

Not sure now you mention that, be interesting to know anyway.
I paid £90 for an EVO heatshield, which makes the kit that Bill is now selling extremelly good value for money.

I had the phenolic bit made myself on the last batch of insulator only gaskets...
These are'nt EVOshields, but result in the same end result.

Gaskets x 2, bolts x 8 and you end up with something which is the same as EVOshield, except does'nt have the ally mani support bracket & fixings, which most people dont use anyhow.

Reason for why is price of EVOshields vs qty to buy,shipping costs, import duties, vat ends up with a higher than I would like sell price.

No different to other products I make on 2-piece disks, or grooved/plated disks.... they are exclusive cos I make em.
