Urgent, window stuck open!!

Had a slight problem when buying car that windows wouldn't open..

anyway I lived with it for a while but then the driver started working again and did so for about 2 weeks

all of a sudden its stopped today and I can get it to close

any ideas?

switches or regulator.

To get the window shut, take the door card off. undo the clamps that hold the glass (2 of these)
and then lift the window up and wedge it in place with something to support it underneith. (obviously just a temp measure so no one
breaks into it)

Try using the passenger window switch first, if not then it's probably the regulator. Cheapest
new one I found was £85 on eBay, not too bad to fit.

the passenger one is different as its a big thing, plus the passenger window doesn't work, I find it odd how both have stopped working

then drivers side starts working again for two weeks and then stops :/

just swap the switches they are the same.

I take it you have checked the fuse?
