If you can be bothered, ring Seat Customer Service / Talk to Seat.Well i had the car looked at this morning finally. They refused warranty, saying there is no evidence of a manufacturing defect and no technical bulletin about it being an issue.
I argued and said others have had it done, but no go.
So question is whats the part number, ill have to do it myself.
Yes - you are correct that it’s a design error over manufacturing defect. It’s fatigue cracking from the stress raiser around the washer exit point in the lens.Is it not maybe a design error - but with same outcome, the blame lies with SEAT and the responsibility lied with the importer who are SEAT UK.
I'm just adding that in case someone starts to run out reasons/logic as to why they are getting "bumped".
Chris, did you manage to get your replacement light fitted?OK ive got the light, but the advice for changing one doesnt seem to apply to the Cupra. I looks like i need to remove the spoiler lower trim, any ideas how?
