When i press the unlock button twice it is only opening the drivers door.

To get the passenger doors and boot open i have to press the unlock button on the drivers door panel.

I have checked the 2 central locking fuses and they seem to be fine.

Any other suggestions?

I've noticed with mine you have to double - click the remote very quickly,if you are too slow it does only open the drivers door.

I've just had my new FR Tdi delivered today, and have exactly the same fault. Took it to the dealer, and they have booked it in on Monday to hopefully sort it out.

Mine has the same problem- it will only open the boot if you press the keyfob unlock twice in quick succession - sometimes the boot won't unlock even if I press the door button. Then I have to lock the car again and unlock pressing twice quickly.

The most annoying thing is that the boot will not unlock AT ALL using the key. The lock is in the vertical position but the key will not turn. I will be speaking to the dealer to try to rectify it but has any one else had this problem?

similar lines to this thread - does anyone elses boot lock itself again about 30seconds after unlocking the doors?

I'm sitting in my car, I press the unlock button on the door panel. All doors and boot unlock. 30 seconds later I hear the boot solenoid relock itself.

Is this normal? i don't think it is.....

Mine does that.

I thought it was quite good, stops some theiving scum grabbing stuff out of your boot while your'e waiting for someone.

It turned out that the boot handle had been replaced and someone at Coupers in St Albans where I bought it from had "forgotten" that the new lock barrel wouldn't fit my key..... hurrumph... not happy. [:@]

Cheshunt Motor Co have said they'll order in the barrel to fit the key and replace the part for me FOC to save me having to drive back to St Albans... Nice guys at Cheshunt!!:)

I've gotten used to the auto-lock thing now and I like the security -being a lone female driver most of the time (thats most of the time being alone - not most of the time being female.............:-o )
