UK / Portugal maps

Hi,

I am buying a 1-year old LHD Altea from Germany as we are moving to Portugal in September. The car has factory Sat-Nav. It seems to come with detailled mapping for Germany and basic maps for the rest of Europe.
Does anyone know where to buy detailled UK mapping as well as Portugal detailled mapping? Does it come as a CD?

SEAT UK sell the UK and Spain/Portugal maps on their website, just have a look under the navigation section here. They are not cheap though at £117.50

Thanks so much for that - I'll buy the discs in germany I think!!! Bound to be cheaper...

All the extras for my new digital camera were 50 percent cheaper in Germany [SD cards, spare battery].... the words rip of Britain spring to mind. Saturn is a nice little shop for electrical, photographic etc etc.

You can get the Bosch Altea front wiper blades from Bosch stockists which take the order at say 4:30 PM and have them in and ready for collection on a Saturday at 10AM, next day. They do say get your car serviced if visiting it's cheaper....
