Tyre dilemma

My tyres require changing with noise coming from the rears (I believe this can be quite common) and a lack of grip from the front. I'm going to treat her to some new rubber but what to get? I like the Vredesteins but no one has them in stock near me. I have been offered Bridgestone s001's but these are an unknown to me. Any suggestions that won't need an overdraft arranged?

I also looked at the vreds but i was also met with the trouble of sourcing them, so after a lot more research i got the uniroyal rainsport 2s, very happy with them and as you would guess excellent in the rain,

Set of 4x cost me £330 fitted.

My fully stock Cupra is messing with the pirelli pzeros in first and second gear full accelerating....maybe because they are factory or because pirellis sucks idk - i can live with insufficient traction on first gear, but how is the traction with a remap from second gear on? Wet traction is irrelevant, what works with more power?

Camskill has Vreds but that still means sourcing somewhere to fit and dispose of the old.

I went down to my local Wilco Motosave the other day to enquire on the cost of tyre fitting, £30 for 2 tyres all in including disposal of the old tyres, use that as a gauge if you do intend to buy from camskill to work out if it'll be cheaper in the long run or not.

Had the Bridgestone protenzas on my cupra R and they was shocking for noise levels also crap in the wet....
I replaced them for conti sport 5 much better tyre imo

I just went for the best rating all round tyre and found the Hankooks where better than the likes of bridgstone, michelin etc.
Ratings of B all roubd and the db was like 71 which im not really bothered about, good grip all round and im happy with them

After reading reviews and seeing what was available in stock I went for these and I'm glad I did. Feel different straight away and they can only get better once bedded in. They are more sure footed and there is no sign of tramlining. Definitely quieter than the (Kumho front) (Pirelli rear) that was on from the previous owner.
The noise I was getting from the rear that sounded like a bearing noise was coming from the tyres as it has completely gone now.
All in I'm pleased, thanks for the suggestion.

Goodyear F1 Eagles Assy 2's

Think I might go for these when I need to get some replacements, bit of searching around and I managed to get a price of £177 per corner fitted which I thought was pretty good.

Getting 2 Goodyear F1 Eagles Assy 2s fitted at Camskills on Wednesday.. £110 each fitted.
