Twister Induction Kit on 1.8 FR

Bought one of those large carbon fibre effect "twister" I think their called, was £233 and can't remember the make of it. Anyone know what I'm on about?? Connects straight to the air flow sensor and then has long bendy tube which connects where the old air take used to be.

Have to say not bad, I can defiantly feel a slight performance increase, sounds is slightly more deeper and the turbo spin is more apparant. So in conclusion, not bad, thought it would have been louder but performance is increased. I shall find out the make for you guy's.

Has anyone else fitted one similar?

induction kits on the 1.8 20vt are hard to find as they dont really fit well in the cramped engine bay do you have a picture mate??

No your right, I heard that too.

This one came as a package but the first induction pipe didn't fit so they sent a universal one. It fits quite well I would say now, came with a metal bracket but I haven't fitted that yet. I'll take some pics tomorrow and get some more info for you.

I think the Twisters are made by RamAir, but could be wrong. Check in the Badger 5 section as I'm sure Bill was selling them a while back.

You will need a small breather filter to fit on the end of the pipe which attaches to the air box, in the picture the pipe is not connected to anything

Please Dont Get A Dynatwist Or Twister Induction Kit Dont Make The Fault I Made In Listening To Everyone On Here Look At Green Cotton Website An You Will All See That The Twister Or Dynatwist Is Not Made For Turbo Cars And Only Rated At 200bhp Max For The Xl An 300bhp Max For Xxl.

FFS - Are you spamming every thread on SCN with your mis-information?

Get your facts right first.

Green sell Dynatwists for Turbo cars.... they also sell Twisters which carry the incorrect statement not suitable for turbo cars, and 200bhp limited etc etc etc... whilst at the same time selling Dynatwist Induction kits, which feature the Twister filter, for cars rated with >200bhp as std.

Its a misprint or something. The filter size is the same as they also sell rated at 400bhp level. Its a big arsed filter.

I ran XL on mine when IHI'd at 340-360bhp levels for a long time...

You are spamming and quoting a website/catalogue error. Nothing more.
