Twin USB port p/n and removal - Android Auto issues

Hi all, we've been using an AAWireless module in my partners' car for years now without issue. It recently stopped working wirelessly so tried wired which also failed. I've tried numerous wires and with my phone too with no luck. I've tried all the usual tricks like clearing the cache on the app, I also factory reset the HU.
USB 2 was broken when she got the car so I'm guessing USB 1 has now also failed so I'm going to try replacing the USB unit. Do anyone know the part number for this and how to replace it?

I believe the p/n to be 575035736. It looks to me that it needs the centre console removed around the gear stick but not sure, maybe it can be accessed with the heater controls removed.

Pop out the heater controls and you'll have access to the USB port rear.

Check the loom hasn't come loose, went out to a Leon that had no connectivity and it was a loose loom.

It does still charge so I don't think it will be a loose connection, I will check though.

Just swapped out the USB unit, very simple to do once you know how!

This guide helped, I didn't need to disconnect the heater control cables though, pushing it out of the way to the left was fine

I'm assuming that this cured your problem?
