Turbo help needed ( white smoke )

Right was driving car and oil light came on
So I drove home and topped it up took 2 litres and it went to the top level on the dipstick
Car seemed ok but started to smoke a bit
Then a few days later was driving again and I couldn't see behind me with the amount of white smoke everywhere
So I took the car home and that's where it's been since
Started it up the other day to test and hardly any smoke but a wierd noise coming from the induction kit on higher revs
I'm guessing the turbos dead or on its way


Any other ideas ???

Same thing happened to my seat toledo 20vt , white smoke out of exhaust, felt no power, started to splutter and was a nightmare to drive,the more i revved trying to get up the gears when i was driving more white smoke , i also had the oil light on and so i filled it up as you did but then i noticed i had oil coming out of the exhaust pipe. End result turbo had failed and the seals in the turbo were letting the oil through to the exhaust system.
