turbo conversion

i was thinking would a 2.0tdi Audi A4 turbo fit a 2003 sport ibiza 130pd? any one actually know any details about, it happenes to be i have the turbo in the shed, the slightly bigger turbo makes more boost for the 140bhp A4 it came from!, i could get it fitted in work if i knew that it would fit! any one actually have this done! real answers please

people who want a turbo upgrade tend to go for a tried and tested package from a tuning company

most go with a Garret Turbo for a turbo upgrade.

I would have thought that the TDI would have a K0.....somin turbo, ask on a VW forum and see what the Turbo actualy is, but even if you do upgrade the Turbo you won't see the tru benafit till you have a remap.

Will not fit without a lot of custom work done. Manifold is different as the turbo sits at a different angle on a 2.0PD to a 1.9PD also oil lines etc will all be out. Can be done but but no point really as you can get an off the shelf turbo that bolts straight on and is good for 230ish bhp from Allards,Jabba etc

although if you do want some cash for it, buing it on ebay as The turbo will be snapped by others who use them in custom turbo mods.

I know a lot of the volvo boys liek to use the older 1.9tdi turbo's on there volvo 340's and the like.

cheers everyone, the car has a remap at 185 bhp but having the turbo upgraded would be even better haha! ill ask around and see if i can swap it for one that will actually fit!
