Tuning/Mods for my Ibiza (2010 model)

Hey guys/gals,

I just recently bought a New (10 plate) Ibiza SC Sport 1.4 16V in Candy White. I bought a standard factory model, all bar installing an ipod dock, but I'm looking to get some different alloys, and maybe some things like body parts, induction kits etc.

Where are the places to go to get parts and accessories like this because im struggling to find websites other than Halfords to get parts and accessories.

I've seen some pretty good mods on here, but cant find parts anywhere near as nice. I could really do with your advice.

Thanks..

Cheers for the link. I suppose i didnt think of car mags. good shout.

Yeah i didnt really want to look at halfords at all tbh. something may be useful from there. but i wanted something good quality not just mass produced universal stuff.

:)

Styling mods go for it, enhance what is already there rather than bolting loads to it. Some nice black OEM alloys would look a treat on candy white.

Performance mods, i'd save the cash. Your not going to get much more out of the 1.4 without spending silly money. If you want an exhaust just get the back box and choose one with a nice note. Not much point in adding a full cat back as it'll cost more and do next to nothing.

To up the output of the engine would cost lots and the gains would be minimal. Like Mardon said really nice back box that fits properly and no aftermarket "baked bean can" sticking out of the back of the car at an odd angle. Subtle ls good and I am going down the OEM route from Seat just cause I know it will all fit properly and is designed for the car by the manufacturer not some bloke in a shed in the Far East or Basildon. Lowering would be good with a stiffer ARB and some nice Aftermarket Black Alloys. Paint the Calipers to the colour of your choice (Im a bit sad on that one) Side Skirts spoiler mebe a black roof and job done.

I'm interested in getting a back box with nice tone as well. The problem is I don't know where to get one. Are there suppliers online or do I have to get one as custom built from the local shop?

Somehow I'd rather buy branded one than custom built.

Blueflame, Miltek, Forge and ITG seem pretty slow off the mark getting out all the good stuff!

I've seen some nice gains from the ITG induction kit where a Revo stage 1 Rocco made 230BHP (At the fly) with one fitted!

Impressive stuff! But we need them in the shops!!!

Iv spoken to ITG and they think they will be developing one, Theyve got to rolling road test the prototype one to see the gains but its not going to be for a few weeks. It looks good, made all from carbon fibre, one piece too. not cheap tho

I can either see ITG not producing a filter for the 1.4 N/A or making one too expensive to warrant putting on the car.

I'd go custom, I'd rather have a custom made powerflow exhaust made for the car than buy one from the shelf as it can be designed as you want, exhaust tone, shape etc.

Oi lads,

What's your opinion on this? The double one doesn't only look great but it's got a nice tone as well, at least that's my opinion.

? Is it worth the money? Any other brands we should look for? How about warranty?

Crap! I just got horny! Must get one of these! :D

They look ok to me, sounds is quite nice, but if it was me I think I'd have a stealth exhaust, have a nice tone but no tailpipe sticking out, think it looks nicer that way.

Warranty will be gone on your back box and possibly your system.
