Word of warning!
Once your fuel gauge goes into the red - DO NOT take the milage left on the trip computer as being even slightly close, I conked out yesterday and it was telling me I had 20 miles left!! Oh how I wish there had have been, It died on a blind bend!! :censored:

Similar experiance, left home with 50 miles showing got to work with 10 , thing is it is only a 25 mile trip and I was taking it easy!!.

When I filled up I put in 51 lits and it woud take no more!!

I think I will need to keep a close eye on it

Mines the opposite. Regularly can get to 0 miles left and it has been fine for a good 5-10 more.

The same with mine, a few times I've stop at the garage with the range saying 10 miles and only got 50 liters in, giving about another gallon left which I figure is good for about 30 miles.
On another note I find the tank size in my petrol FR a right pain as there is a 30 mile stretch of my trip to work with no petrol station and so often end up filling up prematurely.

Mines fine have got down to 5 miles before no problem, and I still drove a few more miles. Seems accurate to me.

I think it is depending on driving attitude and the fact if engine is getting warm quick(outside temperature ...).
For example i park the car with 20 km left on computer.I leave the car for 4 or 5 hours. Then i start on the engine and there are 60 km on screen!!!
There is only one thing for sure! That this fuel left meter is innacurate. So its pretty wise for us to fill with petrol really early and not playing with km left.
Personally i dont read that measurement,i fill as soon as the yellow indication lights on screen

I'm going to take my mates advice and fill up when it gets to a quarter so there is no chance of this happening again!

kms left calculations depends on last 50km which you´ve driven , so it depends how hard you push this fifty and on actual petrol consumption (which is for example affect by engine temperature etc, ... )
