Traction Control

What a lovely feature this is when its wet, without it I really would not enjoy driving the car when wet.

However, its sooooo harsh, the difference with having it on to off is huge, I dont want to have the wheels spinning everywhere, but it seems to hold the car back a considerable amount.

Is there anyway of turning it down? Making it less abrupt?

no
im afraid its either off or on

and having it turned off leaves that annoying yellow light on your dash all the time

I find the traction control quite scarey, i find myself fighting against it when it kicks in as it takes your control away from the handling of the car.

I can generally feel when the car is about to let go, but then the traction control kicks in and totally scares the pants off me as it is so unpredictable.

I dont find that, but I have a bigger and heavier car so I guess its a bit more stable? Plus I dont like driving in the wet as the traction is low (better tyres needed!!)
