Track day warranty issue?

Hi All,

I was wondering if there are clauses with the seat warranty saying you can't use your car for track day use?

I haven't used my car on a track but I was wondering if I did would it be an issue (I know the dealer probably wouldn't even know it had been used on a track).

I was over at the Nurburgring in June with the TDi but I didn't take it out as the track was closed for the 24 hour race, I'll be going back in September and I have a few faster cars to play with over there so I don't need to take the diesel on track just thought it might be a laugh for a lap or two.

yes, they wouldnt know. if it breaks whilst on the track get it towed off, then claim the warranty when off the track.

cool, I might see what the old TDi sport can do then Worse issue i think will be brake fade, I can't the stock set up holding up to 23km of per lap madness for very long before getting cooked.

Niall's using a semi stock setup (standard sized discs) and his car seemed to be fine on the 'ring.

I just had my FR TDi on the track at Knockhill and it was fine, I was impressed with the handling of the car, the brakes & the tyres as it was pashing down.I think the only thing you need to mind is your insurance

p.s 29.5 mpg so the trip computer advises
