8 years with no win, biggest budget - Think someone twigged...

How long before Renault go then?

Hmmm, so Honda, then BMW, now Toyota.

What's interesting is that some of the small independents who have purchased manufacturer engines have outperformed the manufacturer teams with big budgets (Brawn beat McLaren, Red Bull beat Renault). I know this year was a bit of an odd one in terms of development cycles and KERS / non KERS, but when the FIA are looking to reduce running costs, extend season lengths / exposure / chance to win points the big boys are going off to lick their wounds.

I always expected more from BMW after their success in 2008, and hoped they'd be back for more in 2010.

Makes you wonder how long Lotus or other newbies will stick at it if they can't win from the off.

Toyota looked like they couldn't make there mind up for several years now. Trulli and Glock have never really shown conistant pace with the car provided. It is a shame as Kobayashi looked to be performing well so it might not of been the car!

Renault will stay because they have to many deals already done for next year.

Brawn did a cracking job this year but it will be 2010 that shows what they are about as all the Honda money and initial R&D will have gone.
