I've had two sets of these on a Beemer and on my golf, good in the dry average in the wet but they do wear quickly, even if you only cane it every now and again like me!

yeh will recommend Toyo Proxos T1-R, if i could afford Goodyear Eagle F1's then i'll get them but they wear quciker than toyos, theres a big price difference between Toyos and Eagles F1's so I get the toyos, good grip

Make sure you get the T1-R as their better and wear longer than the T1-S

Used T-1R's on my Leon and was very happy with them. A good cheaper alternative to Michelin Pilot Sport or Goodyear GSD-3's / new Asymmetrics.

I am always amazed how much people are willing spend on mods, then will gladly opt for budget rubber. Without good grip in all conditions you're as good throwing you're modding performance margin out the window, as well as risking your own / your family / others welfare. I've always spent as much as I can possibly dare to afford on tyres (but sourcing them from the cheapest supplier) as they are the bit that keep you honest. Each to their own, but when you consider Britain has on average 190 damp days a year you want to choose carefully. I appreciate when you have to double up or even buy 4 together its a big hit, but then so is an insurance claim.

Ive had TOYO's T1-R's for the past 3 years & cant fault them in the wet.... I dont feel they wear that quick in the summer either.... Ive allways got them for around £75 a corner fitted..

I have Toyo proxes on at the moment, I find then great in dry weather but in the wet I think they perform poorly, lots off wheel spin and just hard to get the power down on them, also they wear down quickly IMO. Going back to the trusted eagle F1's as soon As I where the Toyo's out and I don't think I will be putting them on my car again.
my previous eagle f1's out performed my current Toyo's all round.

T1-R's or T1-S's. The older T1-S was not so good in the wet, the T1R improved the wet weather performance somewhat, although I agree no taking it to Goodyear levels.

Wouldn't touch Proxes with a barge pole, bout soft as Jodie Marsh's head. No confidence with then in the rain....
