well my convenience module has the same part no. as advertised on the kvw100 website which is 6Q0 959 433 E or F (i forget now) what part no have the rest of you got?

yep thats the 1 i have ^^ on that web site.... on the programmer it has the web address and KVW100 on it.... Unless i have a dud programmer.... can some one else let me know their progress once they have recieved theirs?

i was looking forward to getting it working as well

the thing is that on the sheet of paper it says it handles them from 2002 - 2007

btw mine is an 07 plate. but on their website
Ibiza 2003-2005 6Q0 959 433 E/F

nothing about 07 plate... but the same comfort/conv number...... i wonder if they have stopped it or changed sumit for the newer cars?

4. If I buy the KVW100 but update failed how should I do?

Do not attempt to do it again. First to check you comfort module to insure that comfort module is fine. Then check the KVW100 whether it has been plugged in tightly and if you have followed the instructions correctly.

If you have any problems you can use a VAG-COM cable to check whether you can enter the 46 module. If all of these are ok it maybe your vehicle is unable to be updated or possibly you may have done something wrong. Please feel free to contact us or our local dealers directly to rectify your problem.

I would try this then contact the people you got it from.

I have a cobra alarm on my car - will this work when I lock the car with the alarm?

no sure TBH, how come you put a cobra alarm on? or was it an optional extra for the seat system and yours hadnt got it?

yeah mine came without an alarm

and b4 some jump on the wagon that there was one I have removed the panel on the reading light and there is nothing behind it like there was in my FR

and I have also tested it before I had the cobra installed

I have got my kvw100 today that I ordered on Friday night

2 min job to do and it works perfectly on my 2005 fr 20vt

auto closure (one press)

unlock and windows down to your desired position (press and hold unlock)

lock and windows up to your desired position (press and hold lock)

I have a video and will post it up later

ARE YOU SURE YOU GOT THE CORRECT BIT OF KIT, THERE ARE SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT ORDER NUMBERS FOR DIFFERENT CARS

im thinking the earlier mk4 must have a different conveniance module that doesnt allow the "one touch"

I just recieved my KVW100 from vagproducts.co.uk and it didn't work either as someone said previously 1 long beep as manual says then a constant set of small beeps less than a minute later.

I have a 56 TDI sport

have emailed vagproducts waiting for reply

will post when i get 1

well so far we have a 53 plate (no go)
05 plate (works fine)
56 plate (no go)

so it looks like it isn't the year that makes the difference
