Go David ;)

Get Vagcom and log the MAF flow, nto suer what you should see, but with remap we look for 150s+ I think? If its at 70 then thats bad... lol

Not sure on block number... see if someone local can help?

Or speak nicely and do a MAF swap... much easier to change complete housing IMO when doing this...

Mike

Yeah your best bet is to get some logs done on it

If its standard then you should be seeing about 120+g/s

If you have a remap then it should be 150+g/s

Anything under 100g/s is not good

I have a new MAF on mine and was reading 130g/s if that helps

SEAT do a 2 Year Warranty on MAFs as they go so often! I have had two since i got my car last year, its just one of those things! You may have a :censored: time with MAFs where as someone else may have a :censored: time with coilpacks or something, you know?

Alex,

Is it for all MAF's?

My car had one fitted in March according to an invoice i have found. It looks like it has gone, i'm only pulling 135g/s on a revo cupra.

Cheers

Now i spoke to stoneacre in doncaster who tell me the part needs to be fitted by a seat garage in order to be warranted, bollocks.

I'll wait to hear from Ted Johnson and see what they say.

As long as the SEAT garage can confirm that is what is at fault then they will replace it on a 'Parts Warranty' but they would probably have to have the car in to check?

So thats a no-no then as it's not faulting yet.

Just low readings.
