quite a few mag reviews though and the old FR too, but none finished spectacularly high

Ride quality maybe, but I dont see a problem with the interior plastics when
compared to French cars and a fair few Jap ones too.

Really not a fan of Mini's at all. I have an old one but the new ones....they just don't even look the part either imo. And they cost more than a 5 bed house.

I can't agree more. Hate all things french. I just think with the Mini's they're everything the last one wasn't. Old one, small outside, could get 4 in. New one, big outside, two seater! They ride horrible and I know my sister's sure as hell is VERY lifeless. Love my Beeza.
