Toledo 2015 1.2TSI auto close mirror and windows

Hi, I recently bought a used 2015 Toledo with electric mirrors and a multimedia system. I'm wondering how to automatically close the windows and mirrors using the remote control. I tried pressing and holding the lock button on the key, but nothing happened. Do I need to pair the key with the car, or is there another way to enable this feature?

As far as I know this feature isn't available on the mk4 Toledo platform.

I've come from a VW Bora (mk4 Golf platform), which shares a surprising number of parts with the Toledo, but I was disappointed to see that the auto-close wasn't available. Even the driver's window button is only auto (one-touch) in one direction, not both as you'd expect.

I've recently started playing around with coding in VCDS (turned off the dashboard bulb failure warning light which was set off as a result of fitting LED bulbs). If anyone knows of a coding change that can add the auto-close as the OP mentions, please do share!

Not sure whether post 5 on this thread is any good for you. Compare the coding.

The 2017 Ateca with Kessy had a long hold on the Kessy door handle OR remote button to get the mirrors in at locking. For a couple of years you were saddled with the long hold on either button to get the mirrors in on locking unless you altered the coding. The coding I took from a Spanish board. All other Vag cars operated with mirrors in on locking and mirrors out unlocking with a toggle to enable that on the infotainment screen. As is the way Seat decided it wanted to be different, but you just changed the coding to make it look like all other Vag kessy cars. The menu popped out. Two years later Seat relented and all Seat cars with kessy have that menu option that enables all mirrors in and out at locking.

Might be something like that you can do. Compare the coding. I use to find it very frustrating standing by the car holding the button for 3 seconds to get the mirrors in. It was a dumb quirk that Seat introduced to locking but relented subsequently or you could code out yourself.

The other approach is it's the 4th version:

So I'd look to see what the other cars had it on that platform. That's how I got some of the Ateca coding that was on the Golf 7. Leave that as homework for you. Check the wiki page and look at mods for those other related Vag cars.
