yes thats actually a standard bumper u see in the above pics with an MS designs lower thingy on it ,

I wa slucky enough not to have a boost leak when i fitted mine. Cant imagine what it sounded like but it obviously scared you . The bumper i'm not too sure, maybe if you cleaned the grills on it it might look better. I think that its growing on me though, steadily.

does actually look v nice in the flesh . when we first noticed the leak we had no bumper on ( going to pick it up) told andy take it easy , it'll be fine . then he planted it 4th gear 1800 revs , 100 percent load i hear u say POP , cue black smoke , HOLY S&%T , 1 minute and a maxpower keyring later we were away , was a pipe from his DV that had got dislodged , easy , told him that thing was trouble

blew that bleeding pipe off again tonight!! I know how it can be fixed though-without removing the DV
