TJenkos' MK3 Cupra Thread

Hey all,

Had my Cupra not much over a month now so no pennies spent yet!

Its already has the important bits done, such as stage 1 Jabba, Milltek system and Greenstuff panelfilter..

Plans for it are TIP, FMIC and eventually a K03s. Would eventually like around 230bhp.

Only thing I have done is fit my private plate, with german pressed ones.

No pictures at the moment but have been spending a bit of money on it recently and its now got a Universal Intercooler fitted with red hoses.

Ordered my Jetex 7008 filter yesterday which arrived today (mega fast!) but have still got to wait for the joiner and elbow. Got some more red hose for the diverter and all 8mm hosing which should look spot on.

Had a TIP from Awesome but the wrong one got sent, now I have no car at the moment as theres no way Im refitting the standard one! Spent 5 hours working it all out to realise they'd sent me a MK4 FR TIP! Gutted!

Thinking about having my wheels powdercoated black too, when a red pinstripe on the lip. Could look good. What do you reckon?

After all this and my part time student grant has come through, Ill be ordering a KO3s and looking into downpipes before having it STG2 mapped.

Ill get some pictures up when everything arrives, I dont want to be off the road too long though!!

have you got a link to the jetex you got? where did you get the fmic also?

Gave the Ibiza a clean today so thought Id take the chance to show off the new engine modification!

Fitted with a Forge TIP, Forge 006 dv and Jetex 07008 cone filter! Bought the 45 degree bend off eBay and it looks spot on. Ill get a few other bits polished like the charge pipe and inlet manifold whilst having the rocker cover powder-coated black... Next on the list though is moving the battery to the boot so that I can get the filter more upfront..After that a Blueflame downpipe with either de-cat/100cell race cat and Brembos.. Not a lot I can do after that without fitting the KO3s or KO3s hybrid but we will see!

From the turbo intake pipe and filter, I've noticed a significant gain in performance though - well worth it, even if it was a complete bitch to fit!

ayup tom, how u keeping???, the ibizas been fine hasnt missed a beat!!!!, ive done afew things to it, fitted some 20mm spacers, had alisport make me a custom intercooler which is slightly big and thicker than any forge one ive seen!! o and its behind the bumper so it doesnt look chavy , fitted a jetex filter from badger 5, fitted a sfs silicon tip too, ive brought a blueflame downpipe and decat for it too but havent got it fitted yet, as im waiting till i get a custom remap. After i get it mapped i will be looking at either a k03s or a hybrid turbo depending on funds lol.
The only work ive had to do on it is oil changes and cam belt, water pump and fit a new radiator as the old was was leaking.
you still got the mk3 polo tom as it looked nice slammed on steelies
