jesus mate i'd say that's about 2.5k cheaper than it should be if my calculations are correct:wtf:

I've gone the oposite way to you mate, i've got the rear ARB and front upper strut. I wanted coillovers, but after fitting the rear ARB i don't feel the need for them now. I'm just gona get some springs like your goodself, do they reduce nose dive? this is my only quarm now as going lower i'd hope to reduce the nose dive or it just won't be practical:shrug:

Haha well even more than that mate, basically my dad has his own company (insurance broker) and every 3 years their staff cars get changed.. this was one of them, they buy anything vag as insure my local dealership (robinsons).

The guy who owned my car called Zak, priced himself a passat coupe as the next car and got a trade in price for the cupra r, which came back as £5k, So my dad said to me, do you want to buy it, to which i snapped his arm off, as being my dad let me have it for trade price plus £250.

I bought it at 3 years old with 38000 miles on the clock, at the time these were in the region of 8-9k, full seat service history and obviously knew the in's and out's as my dads company owned it from new.

Anyway.... the weitec springs lower it roughly 30mm as they are 20mm lower as standard anyway and certainly keep the car alot more level, i didnt want coilovers either as had them on my last car

ordered some 50mm weitec springs to lower the car about 30mm as its already 20mm down on standard leon height.

anyway these arrived yesterday so i fitted these and did an oil change.. not only that found one of my exhaust mounts snapped, un able to weld it though yet as our welder is fubar'd.

Boost gauge fitted today, had to spray the surround of boost gauge black as it was silver, and scratched the bloody screen, but for now it will be ok.

Hello mate, nice ride! Looks sweet. Im also looking to tune up my LCR to about 300bhp, just wondering whats the best FMIC and turbo to upgrade to, any ideas? Ive heard about a forge "race" FMIC, but dont know if it is nessesary like. Oh yea, and i have a had a few people try and put me off the idea, as its a front wheel drive car- they say i wont be able to get the power down? you got any suggestions on how to over come this?

Well to get 300bhp your talking bigger turbo etc. at the moment im at 272bhp and I will be for a long time as yet, eventually will go bigger turbo route i think as i'll get bored of the power soon no doubt! lol.

FMIC wise, alot of people just go for universal ones, i have the two side mounts still as it stands, they can handle the power im running at the moment, but will get one in time also. you will be able to get the power down, mines only 30bhp short of 300bhp and in the dry not alot beats me off the line.

Sounds good to me then. i have the money to go bigger turbo route now, but i dont know where to start looking for one, or how to go about it? Mines runnin 265 bhp and im bored of that lol!
Ill keep an eye out for a universal FMIC then, sounds good to me. Trying to get prices for manifold back exhaust system, as ive already got miltek cat back, want the full setup!
